A Tour in the BEATING HEART OF CHIANTI RUFINA

A panoramic route created for the renowned Toscanello d'Oro of Pontassieve, an event dedicated to wineries and local food and wine. We will travel along dirt roads, mule tracks and vineyards, crossing some of the wineries that participate in the historic event, observing the hills of Chianti Rufina from the most suggestive panoramic points. A tour that combines the pleasure of quad biking with exploration of the territory, designed for those who want to complete the food and wine experience of the Toscanello d'Oro and the Via del Vino with an unforgettable adventure, suitable for all lovers of sport, nature and good wine.

Tasting

For a complete food and wine experience, after the Tour it will be possible to do the Wine Tasting at the Via del Vino in the Borgo di Pontassieve, at the stand of each visited winery. The Wine Tasting is not included in the cost of the Tour.

Tour itinerary

The Tour will be performed exclusively from May 29th to June 2nd 2025 on the occasion of the Toscanello d'Oro, an event dedicated to the wineries and food and wine of Chianti Rufina. Departures will be staggered into 4 main times: 9:30, 11:30, 14:30, 16:30.

Meeting in Pontassieve

Meeting in the center of Pontassieve at our Passione Quad stand inside the Toscanello d'Oro, preferably a little earlier than the scheduled time. Before departure, in addition to checking the membership and signing the documents, a training briefing on the use of the Quad and road safety is planned.

From the valley towards Montefiesole

From Pontassieve we will leave behind the Vicas and Ruffino establishments, riding our quads along a panoramic road that will gradually lead us to the top of Montefiesole, skirting the companies on this side. From the renowned Erchi di Selvapiana vineyard, to the Fattoria I Veroni, crossing the lands of the Marchersi Gondi - Tenuta Bossi, our pilots will have the opportunity to have fun and test themselves on different types of terrain.

View from the Windmill

Once we arrive at the renowned Windmill of Fattoria Lavacchio, we will have the opportunity to take a short break and observe the Chianti Rufina territory from a privileged panoramic point, trying to identify the most distant companies. From Fattoria di Doccia, to Castello del Trebbio, to Ormae Vinae, to the Farms and Cellars adjacent to the Rufina such as Bellini, Il Balzo and Dreolino, up to the Fattoria Il Lago and Borgo Macereto.

Return through Pievecchia

After a quick pass through the vine rows of Borgo Prunatelli - Fattorie di Galiga e Vetrice, the tour will then continue back down the valley, through the dirt roads and vineyards of the Fattoria di Grignano. We will then enter a path that, skirting the renowned Pievecchia, will lead us back to Pontassieve to the Fattoria del Capitano. Also in this case there will be no shortage of panoramic spots that will allow us to admire the lands of Frescobaldi - Castello di Nipozzano and the possibility of taking unforgettable photos.
