On a hot weekend in August we had the pleasure to organize a special Quad Tour for Ella Bekind (@ellabekind), a German lifestyle and travel blogger on holiday in Florence: an unforgettable adventure between the wild nature of Casentino and the suggestive vineyards of Chianti Rufina. Their visit was in fact the perfect opportunity to create a tailor-made tour that combined the adrenaline of routes on natural roads descending from Passo della Consuma to the valley towards Pelago, with the elegance of a visit and wine tasting at the renowned Villa Travignoli.
A scenic route with a pinch of adrenaline
Ella and her team immediately demonstrated a great ability to adapt and a contagious enthusiasm. We therefore decided to take them to discover some of the most panoramic and adventurous trails in the area, perfect for those looking for a mix of adrenaline and uncontaminated nature. We knew that taking photos would also be important for them, that's why we managed the route and the timetable in order to make all the necessary stops, without compromising the success of the tour.
The group's riding skills were put to the test even on the most impervious mule tracks and through the dust that spares no one during this season, overcoming every challenge with confidence and... with a certain style!
The Tasting at Villa Travignoli
The tour would not have been complete without a stop at Villa Travignoli, an emblematic place for those who love and want to taste some of the best Chianti and Chianti Rufina wines, immersed in some of the most beautiful Tuscan hills in the surroundings of Florence. After coming out of the woods and spotting from above the vineyards near Pelago, we reached the Villa for a private tasting where Ella and her team were able not only to appreciate some of the best wines but also to visit the vineyards, the Cellar and the beautiful Villa Travignoli, guided this time by the engaging professionalism of Sara.
