The Toscanello Quad Tour is coming, an exclusive experience that combines the thrill of quad biking with the discovery of the enogastronomic excellences of Chianti Rufina. This special tour has been created specifically for the renowned Toscanello d'Oro of Pontassieve, the famous event dedicated to local wineries and gastronomy, and only during the event taking place from May 29 to June 2, 2025 will it be possible to explore this extraordinary territory aboard a quad, experiencing an adventure that engages all the senses.

A Breathtaking Route Through Vineyards and Mule Tracks
The Toscanello Quad Tour itinerary offers a breathtaking route that starts from the center of Pontassieve and winds through the hills of Chianti Rufina. After leaving behind the historic facilities of Vicas and Ruffino, we immerse ourselves in a landscape of rare beauty, traveling along panoramic white roads and mule tracks that tell centuries of winemaking tradition.
The ascent towards Montefiesole provides continuous excitement: we skirt the renowned Erchi vineyard of Selvapiana, cross the lands of Fattoria I Veroni and the territories of the Marchesi Gondi with the prestigious Tenuta Bossi. Each curve offers new perspectives on the territory and vineyards, while riders can test their skills on diversified terrain, from dirt roads to paths between the vine rows.
One of the most evocative moments of the tour is the stop at the Windmill of Fattoria Lavacchio, a privileged panoramic point that offers a spectacular view of the entire Chianti Rufina territory. From this strategic position, you can admire or locate the wineries that characterize the landscape: from Fattoria di Doccia to Castello del Trebbio, from Ormae Vinae to the cellars of the Rufina area such as Bellini, Il Balzo and Dreolino, up to Fattoria il Lago and Borgo Macereto.
The return to the valley through the vineyards of Fattoria di Grignano and the path that skirts the historic Pievecchia complete the experience, with a final stop at Fattoria del Capitano. Even during the return to Pontassieve, panoramic spots allow you to capture unique views of the Frescobaldi lands – Castello di Nipozzano, creating unforgettable memories of this adventure between sport, nature and tradition.

From Riding to Tasting
The Toscanello Quad Tour takes place with four daily departures at 9:30, 11:30, 14:30 and 16:30, for a duration of one and a half hours that guarantees the right balance between adrenaline and landscape immersion. The meeting point is in the center of Pontassieve, at the Passione Quad stand within the Toscanello d'Oro, where participants receive a complete briefing on safety and vehicle use.
The experience is designed to be accessible to everyone: the contained duration and specially designed route make it perfect even for those approaching the world of quads for the first time. The participation cost is 60 euros per quad for the driver and 20 euros for the passenger, with the mandatory 10-euro membership fee that includes insurance. The price includes all necessary safety equipment – helmet, hygienic under-helmet and gloves – as well as fuel. An expert guide constantly accompanies the group, ensuring safety and providing interesting information about the territory.
After the quad adventure, the experience can be completed with wine tasting at the Via del Vino in Borgo di Pontassieve, where you can taste the wines from the very wineries crossed during the tour: the perfect opportunity to end the day savoring the authentic fruits of the territory!
