Safety Rules and Regulations for quad use
Our commitment to safety is fundamental to ensuring an enjoyable and risk-free experience when using quad bikes. For this reason, we invite you to strictly comply with the following rules and regulations:
While owning the quad, you undertake to:
- Respect the rules and regulations in force for the correct use of the vehicle, keeping in mind that no compensation will be due in case of imprudence while driving.
- Respect the highway code, always wear your helmet securely fastened and drive carefully, adapting your speed to the terrain and weather conditions.
- Avoid driving the quad while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or other substances that may limit or impair your mental faculties and/or judgment.
- Assume all liability arising from fines or penalties imposed due to the use of the vehicle.
- Be aware of and take responsibility for damage caused during the excursion to your quad or to other quads in the group (excluding third party vehicles), understanding that the resulting expenses will be completely at your expense.
Rules of Conduct during the quad tour
It is strictly forbidden:
- Turning by tailing/countersteering/drifting.
- Attempt jumps or travel on two wheels.
- Do not maintain a linear attitude (go zigzag).
- Overtaking and/or coming alongside another quad.
It is underlined that no refund will be due in case of violation of the aforementioned rules and regulations. The safety of all participants is our top priority, therefore we invite you to carefully respect the provisions indicated to ensure a positive and risk-free experience during the tour.

Are there any requirements to participate in the tours?
The tours are open to everyone, to be able to drive the quad the participant must be of age and in possession of an Italian or foreign B driving licence, furthermore it is mandatory to register with the association. Last but not least, for safety reasons pregnant women are not allowed on excursions.
With which license can you drive the Quad?
The quad being a four-wheeled vehicle, can be driven if you are of age and in possession of the classic Italian B license or equivalent foreign one. With the B license it is possible to drive a quad of any engine capacity as long as the power does not exceed 15 kW.
Can I drive the Quad even if I have booked as a passenger?
Each Quad must have a pilot and can have a maximum of one passenger. If both have a B license they can switch places and take turns driving. The user who has paid the passenger fee is not required to pay any surcharge as long as the rider fee and the passenger fee have been paid for each Quad. Eventually users can agree among themselves to divide the total cost equally.
What is the most suitable attire for Tours?
The safety of our participants is our top priority. Although the quad offers reasonable protection thanks to its four wheels, it is mandatory to always wear a helmet and gloves during the experience. If you don't have them, don't worry, we will provide them for you. During excursions it is recommended to wear long trousers and closed shoes (preferably high boots), and always bring a sweatshirt or jacket depending on the season and also a k-way.
I don't have a B driving licence, can I still participate?
Since you don't have a B license, you won't be able to drive a quad, but you can still take part in the tour as a passenger, or if you don't have anyone who can accompany you, you can enjoy the adventure in complete safety and tranquility by doing the ride with one of our instructors.
Do I have to register even if I come as a passenger?
Passione Quad ASD is a sports association. Participation in any activity, as well as the use of passenger quads, is reserved exclusively for registered members. The card has a minimum cost of €10, is valid for 365 days from the date of issue and also includes accident liability insurance.
I've never driven a Quad, is it difficult?
Even if it's your first time driving a quad, don't worry: all our quads have automatic transmission, and are therefore very simple to use. Furthermore, our expert instructors will be at your side for the entire duration of the tour. Before leaving we will also give you a detailed briefing on driving techniques and give you the opportunity to do a short test run to familiarize yourself with the vehicle.
If you don't feel like driving, there's no need to give up the tour: you can always participate as a passenger. The companion's seat can also be occupied.
What happens in case of rain?
In case of rain the excursion will take place as planned, simply with the use of rain jackets or rain clothing. In the event of severe bad weather that precludes the safety of the excursion, the guide himself will contact you to propose alternative dates.
Can children also participate?
The routes we offer are suitable for everyone, from the youngest to the elderly. The minimum recommended age for the passenger is generally 12 years.
What are the cancellation conditions and related penalties?
Cancellation penalties vary based on the notice period provided:
- Up to 20 days from departure: no penalties;
- Between 19 and 10 days before departure: 25% of the fee;
- Between 9 and 5 days before departure: 50% of the fee;
- Between 4 and 3 days before departure: 75% of the fee;
- 2 days before departure: 100% of the fee.
Bank costs relating to the payment of the service will not be refunded. It is the responsibility of the members to communicate any cancellation by telephone at +39 3669722718.
What happens in case of delay in the departure of the excursion?
In the event of a delay of more than 30 minutes, we reserve the right to no longer accept participants without any refund.
I purchased a gift card more than a year ago, can I still use it?
Gift cards are valid for 12 months and are non-refundable, so you can no longer use it.
